What I fix
AI features look great in a demo and get shaky the moment real people and real money touch them: state gets lost, an effect runs but is never recorded, a guardrail turns out to be a hope instead of a guarantee. I find those failures, reproduce them, and make each one impossible in code instead of merely unlikely.
Or we skip the breaking part and I build it right the first time, so it mostly doesn't. The secret is embarrassingly unglamorous: good planning and a lot of talking (turns out "communication is key" was true the whole time).
